LED Emergency Lights

LED emergency lights are life savers, especially in commercial buildings or offices. In the event of a power cut these handy lights automatically start running off battery power, for up to three hours. This means that in an emergency you won’t be left in the dark (literally) if the electricity goes off all of a sudden.

They are especially good for hallways and stairways, ensuring safety and avoiding the added calamity of accidents due to people not being able to find their footing. With a variety of emergency lighting options available, including spotlights, emergency exit signs and more subtle, recessed lighting options, you are sure to find just the right LED emergency light here at Juice.

There in an emergency

What would happen if there was a power cut at your house or office during the night, or the dark mornings and afternoons of winter? The chances are you would be plunged into darkness, unable to see where you are going. Can you remember where you keep the torch? Or matches and candles? Even if you can, you would still be fumbling around to find them and could risk falling or bumping into something.

If you have LED emergency lights installed, then you don’t need to worry about this happening. They are designed to switch on automatically in the case of a power cut, and have at least three hours of battery power. This means that you can get on with solving the problem and don’t have to worry about yourself or others getting hurt or injured. We would particularly recommend having them in and around stairways, as this is where accidents are most likely to occur. It is also surprisingly comforting to have LED lights working when there is a problem and you are unsure of what’s going on.

Great for occupational health and safety

It’s especially important to have LED emergency lighting in a business, whether that be in offices or in a shop or commercial premises. From an occupational health and safety point of view, you need to take all precautions necessary to ensure the safety of your employees and customers, including during an emergency or power cut. For business or large communal buildings like schools and universities, we would recommend LED emergency exit signs, such as the LED Suspended Exit Sign from ELD.

Different options available

We have a variety of different LED emergency lights available, so you can pick the right one depending on where it is going to be placed. If you need extremely bright emergency lighting for larger areas, then pick a spotlight emergency light such as the Eterna LED Emergency Twin Spot. For a more elegant and subtle look, for example for in the home, then you could opt for one of the SirioDISC Emergency Recessed Downlights in warm white.
